Truman Healthcare is a 120 bed Medicare and Medicaid certified skilled nursing facility. We also accept most managed care insurance plans such as United Healthcare, Coventry, Humana, etc. We provide specialized therapy services including physical, occupational and speech therapy. We also offer a 26 bed secured dementia care unit with specially trained staff to meet the needs of those with Alzheimers and related dementia. On our Special Care Unit, we offer dementia related activities, their own private dining room and a courtyard to enjoy the outdoors when weather permits. In addition Truman Healthcare offers extensive wound care services, bariatric services, IV therapy and are able to meet the needs of traumatic brain injury patients. We work with numerous hospice agencies to offer respite care services to allow caregivers a break from the 24 hour care they provice. We have 2 local physicians who also bring the expertise of their own nurse practitioners to offer a full array of physician services on a weekly basis.
